If I place an order, when will I be charged?Updated 14 days ago
When you place an order with Mud Pie, a temporary pre-authorization hold is requested from your bank to verify available funds. This hold may reflect the full order total or, in some cases, a slightly higher amount if discounts or flash sale pricing have not yet updated.
Please note:
- This is not an actual charge
- Funds are only temporarily held by your bank
- Your card will not officially be charged until your order ships
Once your order ships, the final charge is processed, the funds are collected, and the temporary authorization hold is removed.
If your order cannot be completed for any reason, the authorization hold will automatically drop off your account and you will receive an email with additional details.
If an item on your order becomes unavailable, you will only be charged for the items that ship. Your final charge may be lower than the amount shown on your original order confirmation email, and you will receive an email notification regarding any cancelled items.
