When you place an order with Mud Pie, your bank may show a temporary pre-authorization hold before the final charge is processed.

This pre-authorization is used to verify that funds are available. It may appear for the full order amount, or in some cases a higher amount if discounts or promotions have not yet been reflected by your bank.

This hold is temporary and is not an additional charge. Once your order ships, your card will be charged for the final amount and the pre-authorization hold will be removed by your bank.

If your order cannot be completed, the pre-authorization hold will automatically be released. If an item on your order cannot be fulfilled, you will not be charged for that item. Your final charge may be lower than the amount shown in your original order confirmation.
